The MOST disturbing thing about this whole mess to me, is the full-on complete, plain agreement with every evil thing going on in the Republican Party and Presidential clubhouse, by the most corrupt Republican out there, our, OWN, Senator Grassley ... just saying his name now makes me physically ill ... any past victories he may have accomplished many years ago, in our favor, have been washed away in the last ten years or more.
I've lost any respect for him and even Joni because of their actions and inactions when the obvious RIGHT thing to do is literally, "TRUMPED", by big money and ill-gotten powers. The first words out of Joni's mouth during her campaign, were her parroting the Koch Brothers, (get rid of the EPA).
THAT should have been a red flag to anyone wanting clean air and water ... the,"change", chants and fever pitch mob-like gatherings for any Republican candidate were so well choreographed that I'm surprised that the audiences didn't flow out into the streets, swinging ball bats, looking for anyone with commonsense retention.
Grassley held out on approval of Garland, Obama’s choice, acting as the committee chairman, is now, as the committee chairman again, greasing the rails for EVERY Trump appointment. When asked during the Trump primaries about his thoughts, he almost hollered his TOTAL support for Trump, in spite of all Trump's past fiascos.
Even as I wrote a letter to him about Session's disqualifying process of lying to him and the rest of Congress during his first interview, (called out under oath by Minn. Congressman), he sent me a form letter response, ( lots of good things about Session's past, I'll keep your thoughts in mind, oops already forgot).
He does not live in reality now days, just the glow surrounding him because he does not question anything the big money boys want. They use his longevity in the Congress as a lever to pry the crooks into power.
It's time for some,“real”, changes, for the common people, (the real majority), instead of feeding even more precious money into the pockets of the 1%. Trump’s, (and his good pal’s), day to day, jarring, ill planned, instant law making procedures are bending/breaking our beloved Constitution, putting our lives and well-being at risk … International feelings of betrayal, Trump’s favoritism of his business related functions and there is NO WAY his last few statements have NOT been an attack on ALL Muslims.
The imbalance and fraudulent things this man has done in the past and is doing now, because he IS a bonafide malignant narcissist, out of touch with reality, and promoting things whispered into his orange ears, by those close to him in his club of do-wrongs. Trump’s irrational, obtuse actions, should show even his staunch supporters some fear of loss of security and the uneven gains going to the 1%, instead of themselves. They are still blinded by those chants of, “CHANGE”, not noticing the radical emphasis on return to how bad it has been BEFORE.
